![]() ![]() I would not be surprised to find out that Amy Dunne wrote Holly based on her partner or someone she knows. It is so funny, but often authors write the love interest as their ideal woman. The story is told from Catherine’s point of view and as a character she sees the most growth, going from a tightly wound woman with no personal life to someone who wants more from life. I adored every moment of it and highly recommend it. ![]() The two women end up on a road trip to Scotland to spend time with mutual friends and family but a terrible storm forces them to have an unexpected Christmas together, stranded in a cottage in a small town. She is a pastry chef who has started her own bakery. ![]() Holly, on the other hand, is young, vibrant and full of life. At the outset they seem to be polar opposites, Catherine is a workaholic, sales executive who likes to crack the whip in her job and works ridiculous hours. Season’s Meetings by Amy Dunneis a delightful Christmas romance that is even better as an audiobook. ![]()
